Where
Flotillas in the Division have arranged for Vessel Examiners
to be available to conduct free vessel safety checks the
time, place and location is listed below: These safety
checks are an important part of the overall effort to reduce
boating accidents, and are appropriate for all recreational
boats regardless of size or age. An official decal is
provided to each boat meeting all state and federal
requirements. If your boat has a problem we will be happy to
schedule a follow up exam if desired. Because equipment and
systems aboard a vessel tend to wear out or deteriorate with
age it is a good idea to have a yearly safety check.
If you are unable to bring your boat to one of the listed
locations feel free to contact one of our members in your
area to arrange a vessel safety check. For a list of VSC
